Understanding network fees

Separate platform fees from gas and miner fees so Instant quotes are easier to interpret.

Two different cost layers

Platform fees are configured by Vargos and shown in the quote when applicable. Network fees (gas, miner fees) are paid to the blockchain for confirmation and are not the same as platform basis points.

Instant deposits and payouts

You pay the source network fee when sending to the deposit address. Destination network costs may be reflected in the rate rather than as a separate line. Always send the exact requested amount.

Reading the summary

Before you create an exchange, the Swap panel lists platform fee, rate, waiting time, and expected receive amount. Use that panel as the source of truth for the order you are about to open.
